Ryan Kruse graduated from Holy Family Catholic School in 2005 and attended Forest Park High School.  He went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Old Dominion University.  In 2017, Ryan joined the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.  He completed a Level 1 Trauma Rotation at Stroger Hospital in Chicago and NATO medical training with allied foreign military units in Greece.  Ryan is currently stationed with his wife, Kelly (daughter of long-time Glory Bee Preschool teacher, Mrs. Bowen), and children, Nathan (12) and Kendall (5 months), in Hawaii.  Ryan has most enjoyed his experiences of SCUBA diving off the coasts of Florida and Hawaii.  Ryan is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Performance Nutrition.  As he looks back on his time at Holy Family Catholic School, he remembers being a part of the first class to graduate and winning three basketball championships.  He is thankful for the lifelong friendships he found at Holy Family.

Falcon alumnus Joe Gonzales is a graduate of the Holy Family class of 2011. After Holy Family, he attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He went on to attend The University of Notre Dame, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, as well as a Master of Engineering Degree in Aerospace Engineering. Joe was selected for the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He is currently living in South Bend, Indiana, pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Notre Dame. Joe says that when he thinks back on his time at Holy Family, he remembers the phenomenal teachers, the science fairs, and being able to play in the Diocesan basketball tournament when he was in sixth grade.
